2020 has been a year full of change. When the world began shutting down, performers of Central Florida all lost their opportunity to work. Since most performers in Central Florida are contractors, they immediately lost their income and weren't positioned to receive all the benefits that a normal employee would. This raised a massive concern for our friends at the True North Foundation, who are all about supporting artists.

True North Foundation needed quick help to revitalize their web presence, prepare for an in-person gathering to film a project, and craft a launch plan for the release of the project across multiple mediums.
Step One.

First, we partnered with True North Foundation to use the skeleton of what they were envisioning for the website to turn it into reality. We were able to successfully build the site and launch it within a week.

Step Two.

Once the website was launched, we attended their in-person gathering to capture as much as we could about how this local artist community was responding to all that was happening in the world. We learned a lot, including how these artists were struggling through this unprecedented moment the world was facing. Their work had been lost but their creative minds were still ready to craft new works of art. We were there to record a rendition of "Higher Love" that we helped launch the very next week.

Step Three.

We crafted a specific launch plan for the release of the "Higher Love" video across social media channels and on music streaming services. We also took steps to ensure all the proper licenses had been attained for the success of the project.

Step Four.

The "Higher Love" video launched and we celebrated with the True North Foundation with a digital marketing push with a call to artists to apply to have their projects commissioned. We immediately saw artists from all over applying to work on their projects through True North. It was an exciting moment for us to see the quick efforts of the True North Foundation team and the Zimri team come together so rapidly.

Huge shout out to our friends at Concrete Lion Pictures for their amazing work capturing and editing the "Higher Love" video in under a week.
